{"id":5252,"date":"2014-12-10T09:40:01","date_gmt":"2014-12-10T01:40:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/?p=5252"},"modified":"2024-01-16T12:05:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T04:05:30","slug":"838-vpo-20141223094247","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/en\/838-vpo-20141223094247\/","title":{"rendered":"HSMC Delegation Visited the University of Macau"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"art-article\">\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 14px;\">10 December 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 14px;\">HSMC Delegation Visited the University of Macau<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><BR><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ledby Professor Simon S M Ho, President, a 24-member delegation from Hang SengManagement College visited the University of Macau (UM) on 10 December 2014 to interflowand to share experience in running the Residential Colleges (RC), an importantcharacteristic of UM.&nbsp; Professor WeiZhao, Rector of UM warmly received the delegation and introduced the latestcampus development and the \u201c4-in-1\u201d education model (promoted by President Howhen he was Vice Rector at UM) to HSMC colleagues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Duringthe visit, the delegation visited two Residential Colleges of UM \u2013 Shiu PongCollege and Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC). The delegation first met CollegeMaster Professor Kenneth Leung (former Professor of HSMC) who introduced themission and objectives of Shiu Pong College and conducted a tour of the RCfacilities. The delegation also visited CYTC and met Master Professor ChungLing in the afternoon. Professor Chung shared the educational ideal of CYTC in nurturingstudents with noble aspirations, love of humanity, and cultural refinement.
