Professional Bodies Briefing Session<\/strong><\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

In order to provide our students with more informationregarding the accountancy related professional bodies, the Department ofAccountancy organised a professional bodies briefing session on 19 November2014.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives from FOUR professional bodies were invited tointroduce their institutes\/associations and their professional qualificationrequirements, which included Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(ACCA), CPA Australia (CPAA), Hong Kong Institute of Certified PublicAccountants (HKICPA) and Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/p>\n

More than 140students joined the event and most of them provided positive feedback on the usefulnessof the briefing given by the professional bodies.  More importantly, someof the speakers reflected that they were impressed by the good attendance ofthe event as well as the positive behaviour of our students.  <\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
