{"id":5168,"date":"2014-06-06T10:34:39","date_gmt":"2014-06-06T04:34:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/?p=5168"},"modified":"2024-01-16T12:03:14","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T04:03:14","slug":"695-acc-20140724103642","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/en\/695-acc-20140724103642\/","title":{"rendered":"HKICS Accreditation and Exemptions for BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance and BBA (Honours) (with Accounting Concentration)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"art-article\">\n<p><strong>6 June 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>HKICS Accreditation and Exemptions for BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance and BBA (Honours) (with Accounting Concentration)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><BR><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">HSMC\u2019s BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance and BBA (Honours) (with Accounting Concentration) obtained exemption approval from Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS).<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">HKICS\u2019s International Qualifying Scheme covers eight subjects. Candidates successfully completed the Scheme, with relevant work experience, are eligible to apply for HKICS membership and become Associate Chartered Secretaries (ACS). This is a portable global qualification, covering subjects such as corporate governance; corporate administration; corporate secretaryship; company law, accounting, taxation and management. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"color:red\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Graduates of BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance will be granted exemption from four subjects under HKICS\u2019s International Qualifying Scheme (IQS), which are: (i) Strategic and Operations Management, (ii) Hong Kong Financial Accounting, (iii) Hong Kong Taxation and (iv) Hong Kong Corporate Law.   <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Graduates of BBA (Honours) (with Accounting Concentration) will be granted exemption from four subjects under HKICS\u2019s International Qualifying Scheme (IQS), which are: (i) Strategic and Operations Management, (ii) Hong Kong Financial Accounting, (iii) Hong Kong Taxation and (iv) Corporate Financial Management, on condition that the graduates have taken and passed the module FIN3004 Corporate Finance.    <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"6 June 2014 HKICS Accreditation and Exemptions for BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance and BBA (Honours) (with Accounting Concentration) HSMC\u2019s BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance and BBA (Honours) (with Accounting Concentration) obtained exemption approval from Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS). &nbsp; HKICS\u2019s International Qualifying Scheme covers eight subjects.
