GE Colloquium Series No.1 (2013\/14) – “<\/strong>Emotion, Rationality, and Decision-Making”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of General Education organized the first GE Colloquium (2013\/14) on October 17, 2013. Dr. Wong Muk-yan of the Department was invited to present on the topic of “Emotion, Rationality, and Decision-Making.” In the presentation, Dr. Wong argued against the received view of emotion as a disruption of our rationality, and he further proposed that emotions play an indispensable role in our decision-making.<\/p>\n
