The 1st HSMC and 31st HSSC Graduation Ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 1st Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) and 31st Hang Seng School of Commerce (HSSC) Graduation Ceremony was held on 26 October 2012. Mr. John Tsang Chun Wah, JP, the HKSAR Financial Secretary and Mrs. Margaret Leung Ko May Yee, JP, ex-Vice-Chair and Chief Executive of Hang Seng Bank, Chair of the Board of Governors of HSMC, were invited to officiate the ceremony. Council members including Mr. Martin Tam, Dr. Ho Tzu Leung and Mr. Nixon Chan attended as honored guests and shared the greatest moment with fellow students.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The ceremony was divided into morning and afternoon sessions. HSSC graduation certificates were conferred on students in the morning session, while degree certificates of HSMC were conferred in the afternoon. Mr. John Tsang delivered a speech to HSSC graduates. He remarked: “Knowledge can change the world. However, we could change the world only if we ‘know how to use knowledge and create new skills’.” Mr. Tsang expressed his congratulations to Form 7 graduates and encouraged them to grasp any opportunities well in order to have a promising future.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mrs. Margaret Leung stated that she awaited HSSC students to continue striving for both academic excellence and self-cultivation in their future developments. She also hoped that HSMC students would continue the College’s mission of training more professionals for the Hong Kong society.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the 1st HSMC Graduation Ceremony, 143 degree certificates of Bachelor of Business Administration and 140 associate degree of Business Administration were conferred on the students. President Dr. Chui Hong Sheung expressed his warmest wish for the graduates. He said, 'a university student should have three missions when stepping into society. First, make the best use of your knowledge and bear your social responsibilities in the future; second, develop a noble character and professional ethics; third, keep learning and improve yourself continuously.'<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mrs. Leung, College Council members and honored guests visited the Site A building after the ceremony. HSMC Student Ambassadors introduced the facilities to the guests. Mrs. Leung was glad to see the recently completed Site A Building. They all believed that the College would provide an excellent learning and living environment for students and improve the competitiveness of graduates.<\/p>\n
