<\/strong>HSMC Held Opening Ceremony of New Academic Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

HSMC Held the 2012\/2013 Degree and Associate Degree Opening Ceremony on September 14, 2012. The ceremony was officiated by President, Provost, Vice Presidents, Deans, Programme Directors, Chairpersons, Administration Heads, Registrar and Director of Student Affairs. Over 2,000 new students and staff of HSMC participated in the ceremony with high enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

President Dr. Chui Hong Sheung addressed his warm welcome to the new students. He remarked: “The day you stepped into HSMC marks the beginning of your brand-new colorful college life.” He encouraged the students to be caring, capable, creative and conscientious. “With four years’ hard work, you may grow to be as competitive as students from UGC funded Universities’, or even better than them.” Dr. Chui also believed that the College would registryvide an excellent learning environment for students as the Site A Building had been completed recently.<\/p>\n

Prof. Raymond So, Dean of School of Business, Prof. Gilbert Fong, Dean of School of Translation, Prof. Scarlet Tso, Dean of School of Communication and Prof. Thomas Luk, Dean of School of Humanites all delivered different expectations to the freshmen, wishing them a happy and rewarding year of college life at HSMC.<\/p>\n
