2 January 2022<\/strong><\/p>

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK)\u2019s \u201cHSUHK FunD Virtual Run\u201d came to a successful end on 2 January 2022. Although the event was transformed into a virtual running event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HSUHK continued to receive endless support from donors, supporting organisations and participants, raising a good sum for HSUHK\u2019s developments. The event recorded over 670 runner registrations from members of the public, corporate organisation representatives, HSUHK alumni, staff members and students, members of non-profit organisations, and secondary school students. The participation of all walks of life proved that HSUHK is widely recognised and supported by socety.<\/p>

In this exciting running event, the \u201cCouncil Chairman Cup\u201d and \u201cPresident Cup\u201d were set up under the auspices of Council Chairman Dr Moses Cheng and President Simon Ho respectively. The \u201cCouncil Chairman Cup \u2013 Most Supportive School, Most Supportive Residential College and Top Alumni Referral Awards\u201d were received by the School of Business, the S H Ho Wellness College, and Dr Eden Chow respectively. In addition, the \u201cPresident Cup\u201d was presented to the HSUHK male and female runners who had recorded the longest cumulative running distance. After the two-week running period, the \u201cPresident Cup\u201d male winner went to Mr Lau Tai Yin, a Year 4 BBA student and the University\u2019s Cross-country Running Team Captain; and the female winner was Ms Esther Lee, Director of Student Affairs. To express his great encouragement, on 20 January 2022, President Ho presented the \u201cPresident Cup\u201d to the two winners, who also received a cash prize of HK$3,000 each.<\/p>

\u201cThe HSUHK FunD Virtual Run\u201d would like to express heartfelt gratitude to many supporters for making the event a success.<\/p>

\u201dHSUHK FunD Virtual Run\u201d recorded over 670 runner registrations which comprised members from the public, corporate organisations, HSUHK\u2019s alumni, staff and student communities, non-profit organisations.
