Residential Colleges (RCs) got hustle and bustle again as over 1,000 student residents gradually are going to stay at RCs in this academic year, and over 700 residents moved in on the Mass Move-in Day on 7 September 2021.<\/p>

The four RCs and the Student Affairs Office are committed to providing a safe and healthy living environment. Enhanced cleaning and disinfection for the public areas and anti-COVID-19 precautionary measures were conducted during the pandemic. Through different educational initiatives, residents are invited to join hands together in maintaining community health.<\/p>

The first two weeks following the move-in are RC Orientation Weeks. To help residents familarise with the hall life, a series of orientation activities are organised. RC Masters, Associate Masters, Resident Tutors and the staff of Student Affairs Office welcomed over 100 local and non-local residents at the \u2018Joint-RC Welcoming for Residents\u2019 held on 7 September 2021, in which the residents learnt the Residential College System, their cultures, and the living tips at the RCs through an array of activities.<\/p>

In the welcoming speck, Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development), encouraged residents to participate in RC activities actively and cherish every opportunity of interacting with other RC members. The four RC Masters, including Professor Kevin Lam from Lee Yick Hoi Lun Mosaic College, Dr Paul Fung from S H Ho Wellness College, Dr Thomas Man from Patrick S C Poon Amity College, and Dr Howard Song from Fung Yiu King Evergreen College, introduced their teams and the respective features of their RCs, giving residents a better understanding on their belonged RCs.<\/p>

From 2021\/22 onwards, Honours Academy (HA) students will reside at the RCs as part of their learning experience. The RCs wish to foster academic interflow between the HA students and other residents to cultivate a living-and-learning community where learning takes place in an all-rounded way.<\/p>
