It also accelerated the development of translation in various areas, such as medical texts, virtual events, e-commerce and digital entertainment. Among them, medical translation has grabbed significant attention. Accurate and accessible medical translation can enhance personal wellness, promote health education and benefit medical research and development. Medical translation includes medical consultation, professional conferences, documentation of drugs and healthcare webpages.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Siu mentioned medical translators should possess good command of language, translation skills, cultural awareness, medical knowledge, and motivation for continuous learning. Dr Siu emphasised that translation technology was key to accuracy and speed in medical translation.
