Over 1,600 participants, including new students, senior year students, as well as academic and administrative staff, took part in the activity. More than 1,300 new students participated in different events and received important information to kick-start their campus life at HSUHK, looking forward to exploring and developing their potential in HSUHK.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the opening session, President Simon S M Ho gave a warm welcome to the new students, followed by a sharing by Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development) on HSUHK\u2019s \u201cLiberal + Professional\u201d education model and the \u201ciGPS Desired Graduate Attributes\u201d framework. Ms Rebecca Chan, Director of Student Affairs Office, introduced four students who had achievements in different aspects in HSUHK, encouraging new students to explore their potential and seize every opportunity during their study. School sessions and academic programme sessions were arranged for the new students to obtain essential information on their study and meet their teachers and fellow classmates.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new students also participated in different activities to better understand HSUHK and build connections. These activities included:<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u25cf \u201c\u6052\u8588\u201d which was organised by the Students\u2019 Union to provide information on orientation activities by different student societies<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u25cf Student Life Fair introducing voluntary services opportunities, HSUHK Sinfonietta, A Capella, etc., and having photo-taking booth for students to take photos<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u25cf Campus Hunt including a tour to the Library and Lee Shau Kee Complex, HSUHK\u2019s Got Talent activity and games organised by Student Programme Officers at different buildings on campus.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u25cf Senior Entry Session, a session tailor-made for senior entry students with information about graduate requirements, common core curriculum, student finance and scholarship, exchange and internship opportunities, and sharing by Counsellors and current students who were Year 2 or Year 3 entry.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More than 220 senior year students served as Campus Life Mentors on the event day to assist new students in adapting to their campus
