17-19 July 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Asia Pacific Drummer Competition 2019, co-presented by Hong Kong International Drummer Festival and Arts@HSUHK, was held on 17-19 July at the Auditorium of the University. The competition served as a platform for drummers from different Asia-Pacific regions to meet, exchange and gain on-stage performing experience. About 90 shortlisted contestants from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, mainland China, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines, etc. competed for drummer awards in the categories of Young Person Junior (HK), Young Person Intermediate (HK), Young Person Advanced (Asia Pacific) and Open (Asia Pacific). The Final Battle Show on 19 July highlighted rounds of brilliant drumming performances that offered a treat to the ear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
