Dr Monika Gaenssbauer, Professor of Chinese Studies (decent) at the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies in Stockholm University, visited the School of Humanities and Social Science of HSUHK and delivered a Distinguished Lecture on \u201cFortunately he was illiterate\u2026 – (hidden)\u00a0meanings in Jin Yong\u2019s (\u91d1\u5eb8) Xiakexing (\u4fe0\u5ba2\u884cOde to Gallantry)\u201d on 10 May 2019. The Lecture examined how Jin Yong\u2019s writing in Xiakexing contributed to the discourse on a full-bodied understanding of culture and experience in cultural studies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
