30 April 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

To promote teaching excellence and good teaching practices, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) organised the first HSUHK Teaching and Learning Forum with the theme \u201cA Teacher Teaches; A good Teacher Inspires: Panel Discussion on Teaching Excellence\u201d on 30 Apr. The forum aimed to provide a cross-institutional platform for educators to share the challenges and best practices on teaching and learning.<\/p>\n

Vice-President, Professor Y V Hui was invited to give a Welcome Remarks to kick-off the first Teaching and Learning Forum. Following the Welcome Remarks, we were pleased to have the three HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards Recipients (2017\/18), Dr Holly Chung, Mr Brian So and Dr Felix Tang, and their honourable guests, Mr Marc LeBane from the Lingnan University, Professor Wilson Wong and Professor Lisa Wan from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, to share their ideas and teaching strategies on the following topics:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In the closing remarks, Dr Ben Cheng, the Director of Centre for Teaching and Learning, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the speakers for sharing their invaluable experience and good teaching practices with our teachers.<\/p>\n

The forum was well attended with over 40 participants from HSUHK and other institutions. Participants were keen to raise questions and exchange their precious experience and ideas with speakers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
