10 September 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the 2018\/19 exercise, HSMC has secured from the Research Grants Council (RGC) a total funding of HK$8.48 million for 13 projects.<\/p>\n

For 2018\/19, RGC has approved HK$38 million for a total of 47 projects. HSMC has secured a total funding of HK$8.48 million for 11 Faculty Development Scheme (FDS) projects and two Inter-institutional Development Scheme (IIDS) projects. HSMC\u2019s total number of approved projects and success rate are the highest among eligible institutions.<\/p>\n

Professor Y V Hui, Vice-President (Academic and Research) said, \u201cThe encouraging result clearly demonstrates our commitment and continuous effort to pursue excellence in research. I would like to congratulate those faculty investigators of funded projects for their success and thank them for their effort and hard work in preparing quality proposals.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
