The quadrennial World Cup was the talk of the town in the past month. To join in this soccer fever, HSMC, HSMC Students\u2019 Union and the Alumni Association of HSMC and HSSC jointly organised the \u201cHSMC\u2019s Get-Together for World Cup Final 2018\u201d on Sunday night, 15 Jul 2018. President Simon S M Ho, senior management of HSMC, together with some 150 HSMC students, staff, alumni, and their families and friends gathered at the newly named Lee Shau Kee Complex to watch live broadcast of the final through a giant screen. France won the championship of World Cup 2018 over Croatia at a match result of 4:2. The audience enjoyed the exciting match and a thrilling night.<\/p>\n

Plenty of fun-filled programmes were arranged including stage performances by HSMC Band Society and freestyle football winners Pang Kin Fat and Ma Wai Ching, and lucky draw. Besides, the participants took part in battling ropes and football shooting games using different sizes of football.\u00a0 They could also stick one-off tattoo stickers with patterns of the national flags of France and Croatia on their faces and arms to show support to their beloved teams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
