The Department of Economics and Finance, with support from the Executive Development Centre and the Research Institute for Business, will organise the \u2018Fintech Symposium: Disruptive Innovation in Financial Services\u2019 in August 2018. The symposium provides a platform which brings together academics, creative entrepreneurs, visionary industrial experts and forward-looking policymakers to discuss and exchange intellectual ideas on this game changer.\u00a0 It also aligns with the direction to develop Hong Kong as a major Fintech hub.\u00a0 The ideas exchange among various international and local institutions definitely can provide inspiration and insight for further research activities and collaborations between the academia and the industry.<\/p>\n
