Arts at HSMC invited Hong Kong Film Critics Society to present a film talk on \u201cCinema of Occultism\u201d on 16 Nov 2017. It was part of the \u201cCinema of Occultism\u201d programme organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the HKSAR Government. The programme aimed to inspire local tertiary students to explore occultism via movies.<\/p>\n

Mr Bryan Chang, a seasoned film critic, freelance film practitioner and one of the initiators of the programme, played five excerpts from movies of different time periods, countries and genres during the talk. Based on the excerpts, Mr Chang exchanged views with the audience on science fiction, supernatural power, extra-sensory perception, religion, etc, arousing their interest in occultism.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
