To accelerate digital supply chains future development, Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) and its Policy Research Institute for Global Supply Chain, Hong Kong Shue Yan University and E-Logistics Group co-organised the Symposium on Intelligent Supply Chain Management on 7 \u2013 8 Jul 2017. The event was kicked off with a welcome speech by Prof Y V Hui, Vice-President (Academic and Research) of HSMC.<\/p>\n

Various emergent topics for academic research and industrial innovation were covered including P2P lending, O2O capacity planning, IoT applications, Industry 4.0, global manufacturing and supply chain finance.<\/p>\n

Eight keynote speakers were invited to share their remarkable insights and inspirations. They were: Prof Mitchell M Tseng, Visiting Professor from Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Prof \u00a0Vincent Lai Siu King, Professor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Prof Cheng Chun Hung, Associate Professor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Prof Dai Hongyan, Associate Professor from Central University of Finance and Economics; Dr Nelson Leung, Lecturer from Swinburne University of Technology; Mr Wen Jianjun, President of SJET Supply Chain Co Ltd; Ms Jenny Chen, Chief Executive Officer of ESiC International Limited; and Mr Chang Yung Tai, Assistant General Manager of American Tec Co, Ltd.<\/p>\n

The symposium attracted over a hundred academics from different universities and colleges, practitioners from corporations and undergraduate students. After the talks delivered by the keynote speakers, a panel discussion was arranged for an exchange of views and ideas among speakers and participants.<\/p>\n
