The Junzi Corporation Survey 2017 Pledging Ceremony cum Training Workshop was held on 22 Jun 2017. Dr Felix Tang, Chairperson of Junzi Corporation Survey and Awards 2017 Executive Committee, and Mr Siu Ho Yin, a student who took part in the survey last year, were invited to introduce the project and to share the interviewing experience respectively to the newly enrolled student helpers.<\/p>\n

More than 50 interviewers will take part in the forthcoming three-month corporation survey starting from July. Interviewers will conduct face-to-face and telephone interviews. The data collected will go through rigorous academic analysis in order to fairly and objectively identify the \u201cJunzi Corporations\u201d as viewed by the people of Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

When defining Junzi Corporations, Dr Tang pointed out they are enterprises with high standard of business ethics. They are willing to fullfil social responsibilities and contribute to Hong Kong while striving to make profits. Dr Tang encouraged the participants to continue to help HSMC promote the noble concept of Junzi Corporations at a time when the survey enters its seventh year.<\/p>\n

Mr Siu, a student help last year, shared his wonderful experience in interacting with the public and gave advice on conducting successful interviews.<\/p>\n

After the Pledging Ceremony, a training workshop was held during which Mr Calvin Lam from the Research Institute for Business explained interview skills, data coding of questionnaires and the administration procedures of the survey.<\/p>\n
