To promote education through physical activities, SAO-PE Unit organises a wide variety of programmes and activities for students\u2019 development. From 1 to 3 June 2017, 13 student athletes from HSMC Badminton Team joined an exchange tour to South China University of Technology (SCUT) in Guangzhou.<\/p>\n

During this trip, a meeting was arranged with professors from the Sports Institute of SCUT, including Professor Liu Ming, Dean of the Institute; Associate Professor Li Wei Guo, Assistant to Dean; and Professor Zhang Jian Gong, General Secretary. They introduced to the students development of the Institute, its academic system and sports culture. A campus tour and a friendly match followed. The friendly match was the highlight of the programme. Our students had learned much from the opponents, including their training culture.<\/p>\n

This short trip was very fruitful. The HSMC badminton team has closer bonding. Discipline has been further strengthened. The trip also served as an eye-opening experience for the students, enabling them to learn more about grand and tidy facility, systematic facility management, full utilisation of building design, and also disciplined team management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
