The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) jointly organised the second seminar in the series of the HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards Sharing Seminar 2016\/17 on 9 February 2017.<\/p>\n

The second seminar was delivered by Dr Michael Chan, Assistant Professor of Department of Social Science and Dr Daniel Mo, Assistant Professor of Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, the two HSMC Teaching Excellence Award recipients, with the titles \u201cTo Teach or not to Teach: The case of GEN1000 module\u201d and \u201cInteractive Teaching for Integrative Learning\u201d. In the seminar, Dr Chan shared with audience the valuable experience learnt from the design and implementation of GEN1000 module, and Dr Mo shared his notions and practices to stimulate integrative learning through interactive teaching approach.<\/p>\n

The sharing session was well attended with about 30 HSMC staff members from different Departments and Schools.\u00a0 Positive feedback was received from participants who found the seminar contents informative and useful.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
