Congratulations! Mr Wong Kin Cheung Kelvin, a Year-4 student of the BBA (Honours) in Supply Chain Management, received a Certificate of Merit at the CIPS Best Student Awards presentation ceremony on 28 October 2016 during the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) HK Conference.\u00a0 This is the fourteenth year that CIPS implements the \u201cBest Student Award Scheme\u201d in Hong Kong.\u00a0 The awards are given to full-time post-secondary students who are studying sub-degree or degree courses which have purchasing and supply chain management as major core competence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the previous year, the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management nominated three SCM Year-4 students to the award-selection panel.\u00a0 Nominees were required to submit their resumes and to write an essay about \u201cHow Procurement can add value to an organisation, in what ways\u201d.\u00a0 They were also required to attend a panel interview through which the assessment panel members discussed with them on various aspects of the procurement and supply chain profession. \u00a0Besides Kelvin, the other two nominees, Miss Tsang Wai Sheung Alice and Miss Wong Wing Kiu Phoebe, received Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of their participation in the event.<\/span><\/p>\n
