Department of Supply Chain Management organised a seminar – \u201cEnabling Wireless Technologies in Supply Chains Seminar<\/strong>\u201d on 25 October 2014 which aims at introducing how RFID technologies improve logistics and supply chain management.<\/p>\n

It is our great honour to invite Prof C H Cheng, (Associate Professor of Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong), Mr Daniel Chan (President of the Institute for Supply Management, Pearl River Delta) and Mr Stephen Wai (Business Development Manager of the HK R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies) to share their experiences and the latest development of the RFID technologies. In addition, Dr Eugene Wong from the Department of Supply Chain Management also made a presentation on the RFID Research for Supply Chain Operations. In the end, the guest speakers and participants had active discussions on the opportunities and challenges of RFID research and application in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
