The competition aims at enhancing the sense of belonging of all members of HSMC and capturing the stories and snapshots on campus. A photo tells a thousand words. Through the lenses, we can observe the close relationship between students, teachers and staff, and see through their perspectives the beauty of HSMC.<\/p>\n<p>The winning entries will appear in the College Calendar 2016 and will be shown in the Photo Exhibition to be held at the Academic Buildings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entries Submission Deadline<\/strong>: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">9-10-2015<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Photo Formats<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Each applicant should summit their photo(s) with a title, description within 100 words and personal particulars as follows to <a href=\"mailto:photo2015@hsmc.edu.hk\">photo2015@hsmc.edu.hk<\/a>. Participants will receive a confirmation email from CPAO upon receipt of the completed entries. Each participant can submit up to 5 photos.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student: Full Name in Chinese and English, Programme, Year of Study and Contact Number;<\/li>\n<li>Staff:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Full Name in Chinese and English, Department and Contact Number;<\/li>\n<li>Alumni: \u00a0Full Name in Chinese and English, Year of Graduate and Contact\u00a0Number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Prizes<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>First, Second, Third and Merit prizes, will be presented for each category.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Students <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>First Prize: HKD$2,000 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Second Prize: HKD$1,000 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Third Prize: HKD$500 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Most Popular Award: HKD$1,000 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Merit Prizes (30 pcs): Souvenir<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Staff and Alumni <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>First Prize: HKD$2,000 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Second Prize: HKD$1,000 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Third Prize: HKD$500 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Most Popular Award: HKD$1,000 Shopping vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Merit Prizes (20 pcs): Souvenir<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Facebook voting period: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>13\/10\/2015 \u2013 19\/10\/2015<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Regulations<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>All images <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">must be the original work<\/span> of the participant. The participant must be the sole copyright owner of all the submitted images.<\/li>\n<li>All entries <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">must not have been submitted<\/span> for any other competition or provided to any party for publishing or video recording purpose before this competition.<\/li>\n<li>Colour, brightness and contrast adjustments as well as dust removal or similar retouching techniques are allowed. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">No artificial works are eligible<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Each entry should be at least <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1200 X 1200 pixel<\/span> in size and not larger than <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">10 MB<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Terms and conditions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>By entering the competition, the participant agrees to his\/her submitted image(s) to be used by Hang Seng Management College for the purposes of publication and promotion. Hang Seng Management College reserves the right of publishing the winning entries without notification or any monetary compensation.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the competition is on voluntary basis. Hang Seng Management College will be exempted from all legal liability, compensation and responsibility related to the competition or the prize.<\/li>\n<li>Participants are prohibited to submit entries containing abusive image or language, or content related to sex and violence, infringing or violating any copyright or trademark rights, or violating the intellectual property undelegated copyrighted materials. Hang Seng Management College reserves the right to delete the related content, remove the eligibility of any participants who have violated any of the above guidelines as well as the right to take legal actions.
