Dr Rita Yip is an associate professor at the department of Accountancy. She joined Hang Seng Management College in 2016. Her research interests include financial accounting and reporting, international capital markets, and ethics in accounting. She has published her research in The Accounting Review and Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal. Before joining the college, Dr Yip has taught courses in financial accounting, intermediate accounting, financial statement analysis, auditing, and information systems at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Lingnan University. She had working experience in one of the big four accounting firms and in an ERP developer in Hong Kong. Dr Yip obtained her PhD and BBA in Professional Accountancy (with First Class Honours) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
