Dr Choy obtained her PhD degree from the School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests span across functional and socio-cultural approach to branding and creative industries, strategic communication, and risk and crisis management. Her works are published in various SSCI-indexed journals, including Public Relations Review, International Journal of Conflict Management, Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Mobile Media and Communication, and Chinese Journal of Communication. Prior to her doctoral studies, Christine obtained a Master of Social Science in Corporate Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Translation at CUHK. Christine has industry experiences serving as an in-house branding and marketing officer with a French fashion and lifestyle brand and a financial public relations analyst at an international PR consultancy.
