Dr Leung gained his MSc in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, Canada and also MSc and Doctor of Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Dr Leung has 20 years of experience in information technology / e-commerce support and management. He has another 10 years of work experience in various areas including business process re-engineering, credit risk modelling, compliance, and operations. He has taught computing and management courses for various universities including Hong Kong Polytechnic University and HKU-SPACE on a part-time basis. He is acting as thesis supervisor for the University of Warwick MSc programme in project management. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He had also participated in programme validation as an IT specialist for Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
