Module Description
This module explores the dynamic relationship between the individual and society from the perspective of sociology. The focus is on how people experience life as individuals and as members of the social realm. The module also explores how individuals participate in society and examines the processes and possibilities of social change.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

  1. analyse the complexities of social structure;


  2. exercise appropriate judgement on the dynamics of individual and society;
