Art and Design Public Lecture ‘Tradition: Heritage – In Search of Anothermountainman for 40 Years’ by Stanley Wong/Anothermountainman

The second Art and Design Public Lecture was delivered by the famed designer artist Stanley Wong (alias Anothermountainman) on 27 November 2020 at the HSUHK’s Library with over 80 audience attending on-site and online.

Mr Stanley Wong has gained numerous local and international awards in graphic design, advertising and fine art. He recently became the first recipient in the history of DFA Awards so far who has been awarded with DFA World’s Outstanding Chinese Designer and DFA Design for Asia Award. His project Time will tell obtained both Grand Award and Grand Award for Culture under DFA Design for Asia Award. In the lecture, he outlined his sources of inspiration from 12 Japanese artists/designers who had influenced his work for the last forty years.

The public lecture series will feature more outstanding professionals in Semester 2, including art administrator Mr Louis Yu, architect Mr Tim Li and designer Mr Freeman Lau.
