Module Description
This module serves as an introductory module for corporate communication, whereby the students are able to grasp a broad and holistic understanding of corporate communication in the business world. The module includes such important topics as corporate communication from historical, developmental, and theoretical perspectives, management of corporate communication, organizational communication structure and organizational culture.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

  1. examine developmental and theoretical perspectives in corporate communication;


  2. interpret corporate communication from a managerial perspective;


  3. illustrate the functions of corporate and organizational communication; and


  4. explain the importance of organizational culture in corporate communication.
