Module Description
This course provides an overview on various financial products used in retirement planning as well as employer-sponsored retirement plans. Topics include: types, features, benefits, taxation, advantages and disadvantages of several common retirement plans.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
  1. describe and explain various types of annuity products;

  2. describe and explain various types of investments as retirement products;

  3. describe and compare defined benefit and defined contribution plans;

  4. and analyse retirement plan related issues.
