President’s Reception for Parents, Teachers and Students


In order to enhance communicationbetween parents and the College, and to introduce the College’s latestdevelopment and student life, HSMC organised the 3rd President’s Reception forParents, Teachers and Students on 10 October 2015. Over 300 parents, students and staff attendedthe event.  TheReception began with College Video, the President’s welcome remarks andintroduction on the College’s latest development, then followed by sharings from student, alumni and counsellors.

ProfessorSimon S M Ho,President, addressed that adopting the unique “Liberal + Professional”education model, learning experience in HSMC is characterised by small class teachingand close student-teacher interactions. The College puts quality teaching andstudents’ all-round development as its highest priorities, aiming at nurturingyoung talents with leadership skills and human care. 

Parents and students freely chattedwith our staff on academic, student life and concerns, and visited the information booths of student development andservices during tea reception.  Then, therewere parallel sharing sessions with School Deans and academic staff.  Parents alsojoined the guided campus tours led by student ambassadors and get a betterunderstanding of the College.
