In order to strengthen students’ analytical ability, the School of Communication organized a talk series inviting professionals from various sectors to share opinions in their specializations. The talk series enable students to explore important issues in the political, financial, and cultural and media aspects. We were honored to invite Mr. Lui Ping Kuen Bruce, an experienced journalist specializing in News of China, as the first guest speaker. Mr. Lui analyzed the political situation of the communist party’s 18th National Congress, including the prediction of the name list of new leading officials and the challenges faced during the handover of leadership. Mr. Lui not only gave BJC students a better understanding of China’s current political situation but also provides inspirations for students’  further explorations.
